Make well-rounded individuals through performances of timeless classics and modern works that inspire, conduct training that will create competent musicians and cultivate practical skills that can be applied to real world settings, and providing extension services by participating in socio-civic activities in and around the UP Manila community.

ABOUT THE UPMCE

​

The University of the Philippines Classical Ensemble (UPMCE) was founded in 2014 by UP Manila Applied Physics Student Claire Huang where she and some of her friends who had a knack for classical music banded together and performed in a number of events. As years pass by, more members are recruited throughout the UP Manila colleges as well as other schools forming the family that they are today.

We are open to UPM students, faculty, alumni, staff, and non-UPM students as well!
